Light

Comeaux shot a six-stop bracket of this scene and planned to use Merge to HDR. After reviewing the captures, he found a single frame in the middle of the bracket that accurately captured the full contrast range and the desired star-light effect of the central votive light. An image captured with one purpose in mind can easily lead to other possibilities once the file is carefully examined in post.
